First Impression: L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder #MagicNude

Hello lovely people!

Its been a few weeks since I posted, and I am overwhelmed by all the concerned and sweet messages and tweets I have received from all of you! I was really touched and am so glad that I have such support for my blog ❤ Thank you all! Sending out a big hug to all of you 🙂

Its been a busy few weeks transferring from Summer to Fall- college, work, social life, events, and I was dreadfullly sick for over a week, but I finally am getting into the flow of things so will be posting more regularly 🙂

Anyway today I wanted to introduce you to a product that I have been eyeing for several weeks now. L’Oréal Paris Magic Nude Liquid Powder Makeup. I first saw an advertisment for it in a magazine, and was very intrigued, and I finally got the chance to try it!

It’s a foundation that transforms from liquid to powder for flawless skin.

Here is my before photo- bare skin.

And here is the after photo, after applying the foundation.

I love the coverage it gives me- natural but covers my flaws but feels lightweight! It applies smoothly into the skin and turns into powder, which is very cool and different from anything I’ve ever tried!

It also has SPF 18, which is great because it gives me the protection I want.

I used 318 Natural Buff which matched my skin perfectly!

It retails for $12.99 and comes in 12 shades.

I received this complimentary product from SheSpeaks/L’Oréal Paris.

Overall, I absolutely love it and have been recommending it for all my clients and they have been loving it as well!

Oh also if you aren’t yet, follow me on Twitter and Instagram.

Love and kisses,

Miss M

Revlon Colorstay Whipped review

Hey beautifuls!
I was recently sent a Revlon Colorstay whipped foundation to review, and today I decided to try it out and see how I like it.
I got the shade 370 natural tan. It was a tiny bit darker than my skin because I’m pale in the winter, but for summer it’s perfect.
It has a very thick and creamy consistency, definitely not what I thought of when I thought of the term “whipped” but I actually like it.

Here’s the color swatch, blended and unblended.

I used it instead of my normal foundation and went about my day like normal.

The package says 24 hour wear.
After 7 hours, it was still great looking and not shiny! I doubt I’ll ever wear makeup for over 24 hours but if it holds up 7 hours, I’m sure it’ll hold up 24 🙂

At the end of the day:

Overall, I give this foundation a 4.5/5, it’s a good foundation and does what it promises! The only thing I didn’t like was the packaging was a little messy.

Have a happy Tuesday everybody:)

Love and kisses,

Miss M
